Hi, I’m Eliane Morel a Sydney based singer, actor, writer and producer.
I’m currently a principal mezzo-soprano with Opera Bites, have performed in two of Joanna Weinberg‘s musicals, and have worked with Terrapin Puppet Theatre, Company of Rogues, Kantanka Theatre, CityMoon Vietnamese Theatre Company the Asian Australian Arts Association Theatre Company, and more.
I have written and performed several of my own shows, including Disenchanted, a Cabaret of Twisted Fairy Tales, Carmen the Cabaret, All Night Long – an Evening with Madam Long, Ba Ngoai – stories of my Vietnamese Grandmother, There Was No Frog andThe Cabbage Patch Kid, and I’m in the process of collaborating on the production of a new musical about Olympic champions Fanny Durack and Mina Wylie, entitled Dangerous When Wet.
For several years, I have been working as a concert singer and entertaining seniors in Nursing Homes throughout Sydney and Regional New South Wales, as well as being one-half of Dickensian cockney singing duo, The Chimbley Bruvvers.

Hi Eliane
I want to congratulate you and an absolutely brilliant Production of Dangerous when Wet!..I went to the performance yesterday afternoon and LOVED every minute of it. I am a lover of all things swimming, and although I live on the Northern Beaches I have been visiting Wylie’s Baths regularly since I discovered it in 2012. It is one of my most loved places to swim in Sydney! I have read a bit about Mina Wylie and Fanny Durack and also Annette Kellerman. Seeing this outstanding Production brought all the history together for me. Thank you so much. The actors were simply brilliant and the music and songs captivate my heart!
