Upcoming Event 1: Newcastle Fringe has asked me to perform a set for a street performance on the evening of Saturday March 15 as part of their publicity for the 2025 Fringe (which runs from the 20th to the 30th of March). It’s called ‘Love, drinking and fairy tales’, and in it, Madame d’Aulnoy, will bring you a host of naughty operatic characters reimagining opera hits about love and drinking. Madame will then come offstage to roam amongst the audience. Be prepared, one of the fairy tale characters from her upcoming Newcastle Fringe show, Disenchanted Returns, might surprise you with a spontaneous song… An event not to be missed!
Upcoming Event 2: Then, still at Newcastle Fringe, at The Royal Exchange (a divine little salon space we’ve been wanting to inhabit for years) on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 March, we’ll be performing a new, updated version of Disenchanted, Disenchanted Returns. Booking details to follow when available.

Upcoming Event 3: If you want to find me in Sydney, my regular gig is with Opera Bites’ Opera in the Pub at The Harold in Glebe. It’s on the first Tuesday of every month, and recently we’ve had to add second performances because the first ones sell out fast. So book now!: https://www.operabites.com.au/

Upcoming Event 4: Daryl Wallis and I are performing Carmen the Cabaret at Bondi Pavilion on Wednesday April 2 for one night only! This is now an award-winning show (‘Best artistic merit’ at Newcastle Fringe 2024), and audiences have been raving about this one “Gut-wrenchingly emotional, forensically analytical, hysterically funny.” Links to ticketing will follow soon.

Upcoming Event 5: I received a Waverley Council Grant to collaborate with Merran Hughes and Joanna Weinberg on a musical version of our play about Olympic Champions Fanny Durack and Mina Wylie, working title, ‘Dangerous When Wet – The Musical’. Watch this space for a workshopped version in 2025!
