Of the four songs we recorded on 19 June, this was, surprisingly, the hardest. It’s so beautiful, requires such depth of feeling and delicacy, but also needs a consistently beautiful tone and therefore stacks of support. Andrew Covell, our recording engineer, was so helpful in getting me to achieve this.
